Project Key Features
A partially renovated and partially new office building with approximately 58,000 gross square feet of enclosed space with an additional level of on-site parking added at the 2nd level. The building was built for trade-person training and includes glass showcases of a wide-variety and MEP systems installed for just this purpose. The building includes a combined heat and power plant (e.g., cogen), central boiler, cooling tower, pumping plant and more. The owner will occupy 38,300 square feet for offices.
16-16 Whitestone Expressway serves as a model for new building development in the area and is a state-of-the-art, energy-efficient office property. The building offers numerous green measures, including a solar/Photovoltaic panel array, and is designed for LEED Gold certification.
