Columbia University, 3595 Broadway

3595 Broadway, is a new 73,000 square foot mixed-use building providing replacement units for residents living within the site plan of Columbia University’s campus expansion in Manhattanville. In addition to residential units and accessory spaces program, the building also includes sacred, office and educational space for a church previously occupying space next door to 3595. Church facilities occupy the basement, first and second floor levels, and the new sanctuary for approximately 275 parishioners, is at street level. A 2,000 square foot corner retail space sits below 42 affordable cooperative residential units and one super’s unit. The building and MEP design complies with the Enterprise Green Communities program.
