Project Key Features
Edgemere Commons A1 is an affordable, multifamily seventeen-storied building with 194 apartments, recreational, and commercial spaces. The first floor is mostly commercial and support spaces. Parking garage, located on the third floor, provides 101 car parking spots and 108 bike storage racks. The site area of the project is 68,000 sq. ft., and the gross project size is 233,000 sq. ft. Residents will have access to lobby, mail room on the first floor, building storage on the second floor, and indoor/outdoor recreation space on the 4th floor and laundry room on each residential floor.
Sustainability Features
The project is being designed to comply with the 2020 Enterprise Green Communities HPD Overlay. The project is also on track to comply with the ENERGY STAR Multifamily Program. Whole-house building energy simulation will show 15% energy cost savings as compared with ASHRAE 90.1-2013. ENERGY STAR’s Testing and Verification Protocols will be implemented to ensure the performance of the building is as per program expectations. The project will also enroll in Energy Star’s Portfolio Manager to document requisite energy utilization benchmarks post occupancy.
