Project Key Features

Wakefield Grace UMC Complex is an affordable, multifamily six-storied building with 73 apartments for seniors and a house of worship. The first floor is mostly house of worship, residential and support spaces. 7 parking spaces are located on the first floor. The site area of the project is approximately 70,000 sq. ft., and the gross project size is 230,000 sq. ft. Residents will have access to lobby on the first floor, indoor/outdoor recreation space on the second floor, outdoor common courtyard, and a 12-bicycle storage on the 3rd floor and laundry room on the 6th floor.

Sustainablity Features

The project is being designed to certify with the 2020 Enterprise Green Communities as well as the ENERGY STAR Multifamily New Construction Program. Low-flush and low-flow fixtures will be incorporated to reduce indoor water consumption. ENERGY STAR’s Testing and Verification Protocols will be implemented to ensure the performance of the building is as per program expectations. The project will also enroll in Energy Star’s Portfolio Manager to document requisite energy utilization benchmarks post occupancy.
